The Blistmatic AAD-230 is an automatic Alu-Alu cold forming blister packaging machine by Quintess Micron Pvt. Ltd., Vadodara, India. Double-track cantilever design with 230mm foil width producing 4 to 6 lakh tablets per shift at up to 50 strokes per minute. Compatible with PVC, PVDC, ACLAR and Aluminium base foils. Handles Alu-Alu cold forming and Alu-PVC thermoforming with 150mm foil width at up to 30 strokes per minute. Output 2 to 3 lakh tablets per shift. Smallest footprint in the Blistmatic range at 2500 x 900 x 1200 mm with only 3.5 kW power consumption. Three generations.
One obsession with precision.

From a workshop in Vadodara making components for ships and ABB switchgear in 1980, to pharma-grade blister packaging machinery shipped across three continents — this is a story of accumulated craft.

Company History

The journey so far.

1980
The Foundation
Meet's grandfather establishes Micron Engineering in Vadodara. The workshop runs conventional lathes, drilling, tapping, shaping and grinding machines — supplying precision components to ship manufacturers and ABB switchgear. Quality and tolerance are non-negotiable from day one.
1996
The Second Generation
Meet's father joins the business and invests in the first-generation wire-cut EDM machine. The focus shifts toward sealing systems for FMCG packaging machines. Over the next decade, the shop floor expands with VMC, CNC turning centres and CNC profile grinders — capability building, year by year.
2012
The Third Generation
Meet Kiri joins the family business. New export clients are developed, new domestic accounts are opened, and the product range for precision machined components grows. The company now operates a fully-equipped, multi-process manufacturing facility with CNC, VMC, wire-cut, profile grinding and in-house quality.
2008 → 2021
Quintess Micron is Born
Quintess Micron Pvt. Ltd. is incorporated in 2008, channelling decades of manufacturing expertise into a new direction. By 2021, development of the Blistmatic pharma packaging line begins in earnest — three years of engineering, testing, and refinement using the same CNC and VMC infrastructure built over decades.

Commercial Launch
The Blistmatic series reaches the market in March 2024 — not as a startup product, but as machinery backed by 44 years of precision metal expertise. Machines now serve pharmaceutical manufacturers across India and 8 other countries. The full product range spans blister packaging, tableting, drying, coating, sifting and blending.
